Noe Valley Word Weekend 2022

After two long years of not being able to gather together in person the Friends of Noe Valley are thrilled for the revival of Word Week as Word Weekend!

We are very excited to announce that Noe Valley Word Weekend 2022 will be held March 4th-6th at Bethany United Methodist Church. Noe Valley Word Week was founded in 2007 as a project of Friends of Noe Valley to showcase local talent and provide the community with interesting and enjoyable literary events. In its 15th year, in partnership with Folio Books, Noe Valley Word Week is carrying on as Noe Valley Word Weekend!

  • All events are FREE but space is limited. Please RSVP to reserve your seat.
  • Proof of vaccination will be required for all events.


Friday, March 4
Judd Winick NYT Bestselling Author of Hilo

Leslie Kirk Campbell in Conversation with Allison Hoover Bartlett

Leslie Kirk Campbell’s debut short story collection, The Man with Eight Pairs of Legs (Sarabande Books) won the 2020 Mary McCarthy Prize for Short Fiction. Her award-winning stories have appeared in Ploughshares, Arts & Letters, Briar Cliff Review, Southern Indian Review and The Thomas Wolfe Review.

Allison Hoover Bartlett is the author of the national bestseller, The Man Who Loved Books Too Much: The True Story of a Thief, a Detective, and a World of Literary Obsession (Riverhead Books).
