Garden Tour May 2026

The Annual Noe Valley Garden Tour is just around the corner and for 2026 we’re putting the spotlight on Slow Sanchez Street and the surrounding blocks. This annual, community building event showcases gardens throughout the neighborhood and raises funds for Noe Valley beautification projects. The 2026 Tour will be held on Saturday, May 16th from 10am to 4pm.

This year is a VERY special year for the Garden Tour. It’s the 20th anniversary! To celebrate this monumental occasion we are planning some special events. First, the Friends of Slow Sanchez are joining us in organizing the Garden Tour. The gardens on the Tour will be located all along Slow Sanchez and up adjoining streets making it a fun, flat walk!. Our plans include a Block Party, garden education talks, kids activities, music, art, community and city greening information, a plant swap and a raffle for amazing prizes!

The Friends of Noe Valley is actively seeking  gardens along all parts of Sanchez Street and the surrounding blocks. We are looking for 8-10 gardens. Gardens can be homeowner or professionally maintained. If you, or someone you know, has a cozy backyard, a blooming front stoop, a brand new or a well established garden, a kid and/or dog friendly spot – we’d be happy to have you to be part of the Tour! Any type of garden is acceptable!

Garden submissions are open now for the May 2026 tour. Let’s show off the beauty growing right here around our favorite Slow Street!
