Garden Tour Wrap-up

The Friends of Noe Valley annual Garden Tour, held on Saturday, May 11th, was a fabulous success!

The day began bright and sunny and stayed that way from start to finish. The wonderful weather undoubtedly attributed to a great turnout, over 250 tickets were sold! Eleven distinctive gardens were showcased and all were well attended. Many garden hosts went above and beyond just showing their garden by offering wine and other beverages and finger food to their attendees. A special big FONV thanks goes to DAVIDsTEA for providing tea at every garden. Many visitors were appreciative of this as they walked from location to location.

A new feature at the Garden Tour this year was a container class conducted by Charmain Giuliani, professor of Environmental Horticulture at CCSF, which was held at the Sally Brunn Library. Judging from the feedback, this new container class presentation was so well received that we hope it becomes part of the annual tour.

Friends of Noe Valley would like to thank ALL of the garden hosts and volunteers greeters (30+) who helped make the Garden Tour such a big success. We’d also like to thank our generous sponsors:
