The Friends of Noe Valley has two events coming up this Fall, and we would love to have your help or involvement on either or both. Read on to learn more about them.
MUSIC IN THE TOWN SQUARE
It’s coming! It’s coming! It’s the 10th annual Friends of Noe Valley Music in the Park. And it’s FREE – no admission!
This year there is a NEW location, a NEW name and a NEW day of the week. For the first time ever come celebrate Music in the Park at the new Noe Valley Town Square!
The NEW location is the just created Noe Valley Town Square on 24th Street between Sanchez and Vicksburg. The NEW day, date and time is SUNDAY, September 8th from 1:00pm-5:00pm.
There will be local bands, barbecue, a jumpy house for the kids, balloons and more. Mark your calendar now. Join your neighbors, bring your family and friends, be a part of this exciting and fun event. And remember it’s FREE admission for all!
Friends of Noe Valley is a neighborhood organization and we depend on our neighbors to help us plan our events. Get involved, sign up your band, send us an email at volunteer@friendsofnoevalley.com and let us know what you’d like to do to help with Music in the Town Square. Every little bit helps!
CALLING ALL ARTISTS
Are you a professional artist who lives and/or works in Noe Valley (or one of the surrounding neighborhoods)? We are looking for you!
An Artists Festival, celebrating the many talented folks who are creating art all around us here in Noe Valley, is being planned for Saturday, October 26th. This date coincides with the Noe Valley Open Studios as well as the Noe Valley Harvest Festival. The plan at this time is to display art along Vicksburg Street from 24th to Jersey from 10am to 5pm.
